Compost indoors or outdoors with the Naturemill Automatic Composter without the mess or odor. This automatic indoor composter is a dual chamber compost bin complete with a carbon filter and can easily fit in any kitchen cabinet.
Advantages of the Naturemill Indoor Composter:
Aerates itself with a motor driven tumbling rod. There's no need for elbow grease and no need to get your hands dirty.
Insulated and gasket sealed with a heating element to keep compost at the proper temperature for rapid decomposition. This also reduces odor and contains the smell in the compost compartment.
Finished compost falls to the bottom tray where it can be easily harvested. Finished compost (aka humus) makes a great natural fertilizer or potting soil.
Separates out compost tea within the catch tray. Houseplants love this rich liquid, and it can be used to water and fertilize at the same time. Compost tea promotes nutrient cycling and restores healthy life to soil.
Works very quickly. The high temperature and mechanical aeration ensure that compost breaks down very fast - depending on the materials, it can work in as little as 14 days.

But how does it work?
The operation of this composter is really simple. Deposit food and other compostable items in the upper chamber at will. The items will remain in the upper chamber in ideal hot composting conditions (mixing, air flow, heat, and moisture ). The energy that will be released will also destroy odors (always a positive if you are near a compost bin or pile). From there, the compost will later be transferred via trap door to the lower cure tray chamber, where it will continue to compost. This allows you to add more fresh-for-the-composting items to the upper chamber.
Every two weeks or so, an indicator light will come on. When this happens, empty the cure tray. More than seventy percent of the initial waste will disappear into thin air, as it will turn into water vapor. What is left over is a very concentrated compost fertilizer. It's that simple.
From there, you can take the tray of your compost to the garden and let the soil absorb the rich nutrients it provides. If you don't immediately need to use the compost, you can always keep it in a pile or heap outdoors until you are ready to use it in the garden. This composter recycles it's weight every 10 days. It can hold up to and compost 120 lbs (55 kg) organic waste per month. This can result in a composting extravaganza. It's a perfect way to conserve waste, and to do it with ease.
