Worm composting is an excellent way to get compost for your lawn or garden, and the Can O Worms Vermicomposting Bin is an easy way to put worms to work.
Benefits of the Can Of Worms Composter
Round design. The Can O' Worms has no corners where scraps can build up, and it is easy to clean.
High capacity: Holds up to 20,000 worms. The multiple tiers allow worms to migrate to different temperature strata based on their size and maturity, promoting survival and accelerating breeding.
Automatic sorting. This vermicomposter produces worm manure and compost tea. The spigot at the bottom is a clean way to drain liquid fertilizer, and the tiers allow worm castings to settle to the bottom.
Fool proof operation: When the bottom tray is emptied, simply refill it and move it to the top again. There's no need to remember where scraps were last inserted or where the finished compost is.

Vermicomposters can help save space, reduce trash bills, slash landscaping costs, and produce soil of superior fertility and vitality. Worms are also a great way to compost pet poo. However, make sure you do not mix food scraps with pet droppings. If you are going to use this composter for pet poop, make sure the worms are fed an exclusive diet.
If you are a cat owner, please bear in mind that the gravel found in most kitty litter cannot be composted. There are organic types of kitty litter made from straw, sawdust, and similar materials, and those can be composted. Rabbit and chinchilla droppings also make great compost.
