| The English Garden Sieve is a great way to sift debris out of compost or to filter rocks out of potting soil. It has a fine mesh screen that catches large pieces and breaks up clumps. It can also be used to blend together soil amendments.
The fine mesh sieve measures 12.75" W x 14.25" L. The screen is made from galvanized steel, and the tray is made from dark green recycled plastic. The tray can hold a lot of material - it is 5.5 inches tall.
The sieve has a diamond pattern that is designed to cut up pieces. Simply shake the tray side to side, and small chunks will break up so that they can fit through the filter. The largest dimension on the sieve is 1/4 inch.
