Suncast Tumbling Composter
The Suncast tumbling composter is an ideal compost bin for your garden. It makes compost in a fraction of the time as compared to a stationary bin, and is highly durable.
The frame on this compost bin is made from galvanized steel. The composter itself is made from very durable resin. Measuring in at 31 1/2" W x 41" D x 42 1.2" H, it can hold up to 48 gallons (6.5 cubic feet) of material. That's a lot of compost.
The lids on this compost bin lock into place easy, and allow for quick and easy filling of the bin, and removal of compost. There's also an additional thumb latch for locking the lids. However, they lock into place and stay there pretty easy without the need for the thumb latch. If you want to use it you are are more than welcome.
The compost bin spins on an axis. A metal bar goes through the bin as it spins. This is a nice feature, because it keeps your compost from clumping while you spin. The bin also features eight ventilation holes, so your compost will get the proper amount of aeration.
The bin works just like any other tumbling compost bin. Fill your composter with nitrogen and carbon rich materials, keep it at the correct temperature, and let the bin do the rest of the work. Over time, your materials will break down and you will be left with rich compost for your garden.
