This compost turning tool is perfect to keep any compost pile or non-tumbling compost bin well mixed and aerated. Watch the compost turning tool product video. (Windows Media Player.) The extended "wings" at the bottom of the tool are hinged. So when you plunge the tool into a compost pile, they move upwards against the tool, allowing you to plunge deeply with little effort.

Next, when you pull the compost turning tool back out, the wings spread and move everything around in the pile. Wings are plated and won't rust or jam. They unfold to 7 inches when withdrawn from compost.
