Clean, air tight and small enough to fit under a cabinet or in a closet, indoor compost bins typically use bokashi to anaerobically break down materials into fresh compost for the garden, or use an electronic system like the Naturemill.

Indoor composters can also work well in combination with standard compost bins or compost tumblers in the backyard.
